Purwokerto, 5 Oktober 2026 — Program Studi Magister Kesehatan Masyarakat (S2 Kesmas) Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (FIKes UNSOED) menyelenggarakan Information Session HIGH × UNSOED Short Course Programme 2027 pada Senin (5/10/2026) secara daring.
Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan untuk memberikan informasi kepada mahasiswa aktif S2 Kesehatan Masyarakat UNSOED mengenai kesempatan mengikuti short course internasional di Heidelberg Institute of Global Health (HIGH), Heidelberg University, Germany. Program ini merupakan bagian dari kolaborasi UNSOED dan Heidelberg University dalam proyek Sustainable Horizons: Empowering Global Perspectives in Health-Related SDGs Teaching and Research in Indonesia (2025–2028).

Kegiatan diawali dengan pembukaan oleh Master of Ceremony (MC), kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sambutan dari Ketua Program Studi Magister Kesehatan Masyarakat, Prof. Dr. Dwi Sarwani Sri Rejeki, S.KM., M.Kes(Epid), yang menyampaikan pentingnya kesempatan pembelajaran internasional bagi mahasiswa dalam memperluas wawasan dan pengalaman akademik di bidang kesehatan masyarakat.
Selanjutnya, Ketua Tim Pelaksana Kerjasama HIGH FIKes, Prof. Siwi Pramatama Mars Wijayanti, S.Si., M.Kes., PhD, memberikan pemaparan mengenai gambaran umum program dan konteks kerja sama UNSOED dengan Heidelberg University. Program short course ini menjadi salah satu bentuk implementasi kerja sama internasional yang memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk memperoleh pengalaman belajar dalam lingkungan akademik global.
Sesi ini turut dihadiri oleh Yuditha Nindya Kartika Rizqi, S.KM., MPH., dosen Program Studi S1 Kesehatan Masyarakat FIKes UNSOED yang saat ini sedang menempuh studi doktoral (PhD) di Heidelberg Institute of Global Health (HIGH), Heidelberg University, Germany. Kehadiran beliau turut memberikan perspektif dan pengalaman langsung mengenai lingkungan akademik di HIGH kepada mahasiswa, khususnya terkait pengalaman studi dan pembelajaran di Jerman.
Pada sesi berikutnya, Lu’lu Nafisah, S.KM., M.K.M. selaku perwakilan Tim Seleksi menyampaikan informasi teknis terkait program dan proses seleksi peserta. Dijelaskan bahwa program tahun 2027 menyediakan delapan tempat bagi mahasiswa, yang terdiri atas empat mahasiswa untuk periode Januari, dua mahasiswa untuk periode April, dan dua mahasiswa untuk periode Mei.






Mahasiswa yang terpilih akan mengikuti short course yang diselenggarakan HIGH dengan tema yang beragam. Pada periode Januari, peserta akan mengikuti Facing the NCD Epidemic in Low- and Middle-Income Countries dan Global Mental Health. Periode April menawarkan Financing Health Care: Concepts, Challenges and Practices serta Consultancy Skills in International Cooperation in Health: Evaluation of Health Facilities, Projects and Programmes. Sementara itu, periode Mei mencakup Health Systems Strengthening dan Nutrition in Global Health.
Selain memperoleh pengalaman akademik internasional, program ini juga memberikan berbagai dukungan kepada peserta, antara lain tiket perjalanan pulang-pergi, akomodasi, lump-sum allowance, serta biaya pengajuan visa yang ditanggung oleh project ini. Peserta juga akan memperoleh sertifikat setelah mengikuti course, sementara transfer kredit ke dalam program studi UNSOED akan diberikan dan mata kuliah yang digunakan untuk konversi masih dalam pembahasan Tim Kurikulum.
Sesi dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab. Mahasiswa mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mengklarifikasi berbagai hal terkait pilihan periode program, persyaratan, dokumen yang harus disiapkan, proses seleksi, pendanaan, serta mekanisme keberangkatan ke Jerman.
Kegiatan kemudian ditutup setelah seluruh informasi dan pertanyaan peserta tersampaikan. Melalui kegiatan ini, mahasiswa S2 Kesmas UNSOED diharapkan semakin siap memanfaatkan peluang pembelajaran internasional sekaligus mengembangkan jejaring, wawasan global, dan kompetensi yang relevan dengan penelitian, tesis, maupun pengembangan karier mereka. Program ini juga mendorong peserta untuk membagikan dan menerapkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh setelah kembali ke lingkungan akademik UNSOED.
Program ini juga menjadi bagian dari upaya memperkuat kontribusi pendidikan tinggi terhadap pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Pembelajaran internasional melalui HIGH diharapkan dapat memperkuat kapasitas mahasiswa dalam memahami berbagai tantangan kesehatan global, mengembangkan pendekatan berbasis bukti, serta menghubungkan isu kesehatan dengan agenda pembangunan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, pengalaman short course tidak berhenti pada peningkatan kompetensi individu, tetapi diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada penguatan pembelajaran, penelitian, dan praktik kesehatan masyarakat yang mendukung pencapaian SDGs di tingkat lokal maupun global.

This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapts Its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.

Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console screenshots of code examples:
Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all of the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.
These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside of it.
Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for MAC users.
